119 : The new OT

My firm is not so bad, even though i am super part time (2 weeks only), the people there treat me real nice, like a friend. I think its the culture, most of the people in the office are from overseas, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines. The boss is smart, he do not smart and command people, he infact asks nicely for you to OT in a calm and assertive manner, as if he's asking you to volunteer.

OH ZEUS, how can we refuse ? I think everywhere people talk about their bosses whenever their bosses are not around. Its quite fun really. Well, at least my boss this time round give me good advice and not so oppressive about how they want their designs. During these 2 days, i just realised how much i suck at my subject of architecture. My job is really making me visit the URA website and even the much dreaded government body that rules our lives behind the scenes.

The new OT is now letting you go back on time at 630pm while the official knock off is at 6pm, and asking you NICELY to come for work at 730AM instead of 9am. Its been aeon's since i am asked to wake up so early. I better start sleeping early from today onwards.

On a side note, architects are indeed, inhuman, how they go and design something with so many guidelines to take note of ? I read the car parking handbook (YES THEY MADE ONE BOOK JUST FOR CAR PARKS ALONE), and i almost died. They should be a new occupation/vocation called "Basement Carpark Designer". That would be cool.

As you might have observed, i did not fulfill a men's deepest desire at this event which is to take pureety gers in nice nice yukatas. it really did not occurred to me when i was there. i had borrowed a good camera to take good night shots, but but, i wonder whats wrong with me. guess there's still some things i can't let go. the guys and gal from hiroshima are coming tomorrow for their exchange trip to singapore, need to show my face there. and so, i skip DAY ONE of work.

that's me, holding the greatest salad seasoning on earth. it ain't thousand island or your italian dressing, its sesame seed dressing. and its the only thing that will cause one amazing sore throat if you put too much on your cabbage. 116 : Programmes for aug/sep holidays

Howdy heys ! Recenetly manage to find time to watch CLICK the movie, i got it on VCD and the quality is as usual bad, and worse off, its original bought from HMV one. Its sad to see the protagonist being portrayed as a workaholic architect, and living a crappy life. Would i become like that in the future ? Haha who knows really.

Will i even live that long too ? To quote our dearest greatest PM Ree during the 2007 rational ray rarry, dying is longer becoming a risk, living is, and its going to become a real expense problem. The older we are the bigger the risk.

So whats the point of living until an old age full of sickness and shit ? Yes, many might agree while many more may not. Ok thats not the real issue today but heys, better to take note of it now than regret later. We young people should take note of such issues and think about it.

So the september holidays are coming soon, while most of my classmates are going gagagoo over the break, some of the students of architecture are, including myself, not so happy over the thing. Immediately ofter the holidays will be another submission. Yay ?

Somehow after so long, so so long, i am finally going to go to HONG KONG..... again. Yes, again. I went there when i was in primary five, that was many years ago too, but most of memory had been jumbled up, cannot remember much anyways. Leaving on the 12th of September, be going for 5 days. Oh man yes ! A proper holiday finally !

Got a job too. Its the same as my industrial attachment. Need to earn some extra buck during the holidays too. Its at chinatown, working with friends too.

Do in photoshop so nice, in the end the print out turns into shit colour, the maroon at the bottom became shit brown, all the blues became purple, all the purple became pink. Sad-ed, 200 dollars gone, poof. Year 3 archi, GO ! GO ! GO !

112 : Dunno what is going on

Japanese test was easy. The easiest so far this year. Today monday was a great day. Cher' changed my facade, services are changed too. Did some crazy stunts in class. Made some people angry. Didn't bother to apologise. Handphone rang during jap test LOUDLY, so thankful sensei never flung me. Oh wells what a day. Tomorrow will be a better one. I still need help in model making.

Life sucks. Me and the four walls and my project to do. I wanna go shopping and look at pretty girls. But hey, at least i ain't letting architecture turn me gay. Enough crapping back to work !

109 : 7 days before Joint Crit 3 2007

Sometimes, i just want to break down, and cry my heart out. Time and again the same feeling pricks my heart but then, no tears would come. I could feel everything stacking up in my chest already. And just a bit more and it will hit the rim and, i won't know what will happen next. I need someone to talk to and quick, but everyone's so busy. How ? *sigh*
